Raspberry Pi eases loading other .img files
Raspberry Pi Imager, the tool provided by Raspberry Pi to load Raspberry Pi OS onto an SD Card, has a nice extra facility that I had not noticed before. Imager automates the loading of the standard 32bit Bulleye-based Raspberry Pi operating system, it will also load 64bit Raspberry Pi OS, and the Buster-based 32bit ‘legacy’ version of older Pis like my Pi2, as well as alternative operating systems such as Ubuntu.
However, the bit I have just discovered is that it will also load third-party .img files onto an SD Card – just scroll all the way to the bottom of the Imager menu.
