Gem Boy Zero is a Miniature 3D-Printed Nintendo Game Boy
There’s the DMG-0B prototype, and then Gem Boy Zero, a miniature 3D-printed Nintendo Game Boy-inspired console. Aside from the 3D-printed shell, it features a 1.44-inch display with a laser-cut acrylic cover, a micro-USB port for charging, and a Raspberry Pi Zero W at the heart of the tiny handheld.
The Raspbery Pi Zero W means that it’s powerful enough to not only run Game Boy games, but also N64, SNES, SEGA Genesis, Game Boy Advance, and even some PlayStation games. Want one? Unfortunately, they aren’t for sale, although its creator ‘wermy’ did provide the 3D-printable STL files to his Patreon supporters. Or, you could just create your own using an old SEGA Dreamcast VMU shell.
