Tamerlan has taken Raspberry Pi gaming to the physical realm with an innovative automated chessboard. This interactive project allows players to compete against a computer or opponents over the internet, with the board replicating their moves in real life. The system moves chess pieces using magnets attached to an XY stepper motor mechanism beneath the board, offering a tangible and unique gaming experience.
The Raspberry Pi plays a critical role in managing the board, calculating piece positions, and planning optimal paths for movement.
