The new Gaming Mattress
The new Gaming Mattress – who wants one? Gaming has moved beyond being a mere hobby to being ubiquitous in the modern person’s life. What was seen as a niche interest for geeks is now common place. In one form or another; be it on mobile; PC; console or tablet; people will play video games at some point in their lives.
Low-cost server
And at some point you will own a Raspberry Pi. One of the easiest and most practical uses of the Raspberry Pi is as a low-cost web server, which you can use to host simple websites. Cloud-based hosting is arguably easier and more practical. But setting up a basic server is an excellent way to get to grips with server and networking technology; so get gaming!
Mattress completes the gaming bed set
Releasing a mattress does make some sense for Bauhutte because they have released products that can be combined into a gaming bed set-up; such as the bed desk; side-board and side table. The mattress simply completes the rig.
RGB’s & Wearables
On 2ch, which is Japan’s largest bulletin board, netizens do have some misgivings about the product. Some state that the mattress doesn’t have anything to do with gaming or even improve gaming specifically; and is just a regular mattress. Others state that the mattress should be giving off light to be considered a gaming product. Don’t be fooled into thinking you don’t have a need for RGBs; wearables and such. They’re not only for kids or vibrant displays. They have functional; everyday perks that may add a little extra ease and color into your life!
Comfort, the name of the game
Bauhutte’s gaming mattress will come in three sizes – single, semi-double, and double. The price ranges from US$256 to US$391 (R7000). Since comfort is a big focus for gamers; maybe there’s a chance that other companies specializing in gaming peripherals will jump onto this bandwagon.
