Slip casting in ceramics traditionally involves messy processes, especially in creating the initial plaster mold. Allie Katz introduces a cleaner alternative using 3D printed slab molds, revolutionizing ceramic production. This innovative technique combines the intricate designs achievable through 3D printing with the malleability of clay, enabling the creation of reproducible clay objects without the hassle of dealing with liquid clay.
