At the Raspberry Pi Foundation, their mission is to enable young people to realise their full potential through the power of computing and digital technologies. The Raspberry Pi Foundation collaborated with Mo School Abhiyan, a citizen-government partnership in Odisha, India, to support Code Clubs for young people.
Through teacher training and ongoing support, the aim is to enable access to computer science education. The training, conducted through a hybrid approach of online courses and in-person sessions, focuses on Scratch programming in Code Clubs.
The project has resulted in the establishment of numerous Code Clubs, reaching an estimated 32,000 young people. The Raspberry Pi Foundation plans to continue its work in India. Are you interested in joining a Code Club? Use this link to find a Code Club near you.
