Active Jams and Community Events

General Submission: Share Your Creation with the World!

For most of our game jams, especially those focused on community showcase and learning, sharing your project is simple:

1. Create a Video Showcase:

  • Record a video of your game or project in action! This is your chance to show off your hard work.
  • What to include:
    • A clear demonstration of your game/project’s core mechanics and features.
    • Optional: A brief explanation of your design choices, challenges you overcame, or what inspired you.
    • Optional: Show your hardware setup if it’s a Raspberry Pi or micro:bit jam!
  • Video Length: We recommend keeping your video concise, ideally between 1-5 minutes, but feel free to go a bit longer if your project requires it.

2. Upload to Your Favorite Platform:

  • Upload your video to a public platform like YouTube, Vimeo, or TikTok. Ensure the video is publicly accessible (not set to private or unlisted unless specifically instructed for a particular jam).

3. Add the Official Hashtag:

  • In your video’s title and/or description, you MUST include the official game jam hashtag. This is how we’ll find your amazing entry!

4. Spread the Word!

  • Feel free to share your video on social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) with the hashtag to let everyone know what you’ve built!
