The Experience AI Challenge
The Experience AI Challenge, a collaboration between the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind, invites young people under 18 and their mentors to embark on the journey of creating their own unique artificial intelligence (AI) projects. With the submission deadline set for May 24, 2024, there’s still ample time to get involved in this exciting opportunity. To learn more about the Challenge and how to participate, join the live webinar on Wednesday, April 3, at 15:30 BST on the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s YouTube channel.
During the webinar, participants will have the chance to ask questions live, receive guidance on the submission process, and gain insights into project feedback and recognition. The Challenge fosters project-based learning, empowering learners to collaborate, think critically, and deeply engage with AI concepts while seeking real-world problems and crafting innovative solutions. For young participants in the UK, personalized feedback and certificates of achievement await, with outstanding projects having the chance to be showcased at a special event in the summer.
The Challenge’s comprehensive resource pack makes it accessible to educators and mentors, regardless of their level of expertise in AI. From introductory materials to advanced project development resources, the pack includes guides for mentors and creators, as well as a blueprint workbook to support project planning and design. By bringing the Experience AI Challenge to classrooms and coding clubs, educators inspire the next generation of innovators to explore the impact of their creations and embrace the possibilities of the future.
