Riesling on Raspberry Pi 4 is updated
In the 80s and 90s, the arcades were the place to be. Since we pursued higher scores, the latest games ate our heart. Those days have sadly passed now, but retro gaming is going to have a massive growth in the past decade.
Using a Raspberry Pi, you can run an array of emulators that allow you to play old-time arcade games, but also your favorite titles from any of the most reputable old consoles, including the Atari 2600, NES, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis and Gameboy. There are several emulation platform options, but RetroPie is by far the most popular and arguably the best.
Up until recently, installing RetroPie on a Raspberry Pi 4 was a pain in the heart. Even though the Raspberry Pi 4 came out in June, it didn’t support it for nearly a year and there were a few manual steps you would have to take to make it work. You can install RetroPie on a Raspberry Pi 4, but you can do this with the Raspberry Pi imager. It can’t be easier.
